Q: Are you GMP compliant?:

A: Our production facility meets U.S. FDA criteria. We are inspected by AIB annually and recently have received a superior rating.

Q: What are your R&D capabilities?

A: Whether it’s the taste, solubility, stability, or other formulation issue you need help with, we can show you how to successfully reach your goals. Please see the Research and Development section for more information.

Q: What types of products do you manufacture and what are your specialties?

A: You can count on us for everything from product development and formulation of supplements, to production and packaging of nutritional powders and premixes. Our focus is on consumer-friendly nutritional delivery systems based on soluble powders, packaged in single-serve packets, tablets, capsules, canisters, as well as commercial bulk packaging. Q: What is your minimum order or batch size?

A: We have different batch sizes for each different type of product:

• Tablets, 70,000
• Capsule, 50,000
• Powder mixes, *1000 kilos
• Pouches, 40,000 pouches

*All are with standard in-house flavors

Q: Do you carry any stock products?

A: No, all are manufactured to order.

Q: What documents can you provide or support?

A: We provide a certificate of manufacture to our customers with completion of every order, product specifications, a copy of our GMP compliance and other available documents upon your request. We also assist in organic, EU and kosher certification in your products.

Q: Do you have any products that are private label?

A: No, Protein Research is strictly a contract manufacture only; we do not compete with our customers.

Q: How long are your lead times?

A: 6-8 weeks on a new product. 6 weeks on re-orders. However, this can depend on material supply and amount of the production run.

Q: Do you guarantee quality?

A: It’s our goal to provide the highest quality product using the best ingredients and flavor systems. This, we believe, ensures complete customer satisfaction. We follow strict GMP procedures, making sure your formula is exactly as you expect it. Both the customer and our lab authorize the formula, and no changes are made without your consent and your signoff. This way, you get what you asked for. And your customers get the best nutritional value.

Q: Do you provide labels and packaging?

A: In most cases our customers provide product labels. We will consult on label contents if the customer needs to be sure the label content meets requirements. We do offer complete turnkey packaging and manufacturing if a customer requests it. Please ask our sales staff for details.
