Certificate of Analysis: A document provided when every ingredient is tested by a third- party lab.
Certificate of Manufacture: A document we provide our customer when your product is finished.
Excipient: An inactive substance used as a carrier for the active ingredient, sometimes called a “binder” or “filler” when processing capsules or tablets.
Formula sign-off sheet: A document generated for the customer and signed to indicate agreement with ingredients, actives, and price of their product. Protein Research will proceed with manufacturing only if this has been signed.
GMP: Good manufacture practices
Kilo: 1 kilo = 2.228lbs, measurement often used in powder blends.
Packaging sign-off sheet: A document our customer signs that states all packaging components such as bottle, cap, liner, neckband, scoop, case pack, etc. are correct
QC: Quality control
R & D: Research and development
Turnkey operation: When protein Research provides all raw materials and packaging for a customer’s product, we basically do everything from start to finish.
