Protein Research in the Community

 

Protein Research believes that our community should always be supportive of one another and is only as good as it’s people.

We’re proud to look back at 2019 and highlight some charities we helped this year:

    • In March, employees participated in “Roanne’s Race” where they did a 5k run/walk and all proceeds went to fight colorectal cancer in Roanne’s honor. Learn more: https://roannesrace.org/
    • In August, with our employees and the the Alameda county food bank, we helped feed and pack food for those in need. This is one of our favorite organizations.  Learn more at: https://www.accfb.org/
    • In October, employees signed up for “Tri-Valley’s Fall Pace for Peace”- All proceeds from Pace for Peace 5K/10K benefit Tri-Valley Haven. Tri-Valley Haven is a vital community resource for families providing life-saving services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, homeless and hunger.     • Komera- Protein Research provided financial support to the young women in Rwanda, South Africa. This organization supports schooling and life skills for young women enabling them to start businesses to support their families. Learn more at: https://komera.org/
