Tom Hirschbeck, a Sr. Director of Research & Development at Protein Research, has joined the team in November 2020. Tom is a skilled Research & Development professional with over 23 experience in product/process development, project management, technical service and operational based continuous improvement. He is a graduate of Purdue University and an active member of the IFT (Institute of Food Technologists). Prior to joining Protein Research, Tom worked for Pharmavite, LLC in Valencia California helping Pharmavite grow the gummy supplement division. Tom also previously worked for the Nellson Nutraceutical Powder Division (2003 to 2019) as Research & Development Director for Nellson’s 2 powder facilities (Anaheim, CA and Salt Lake City, UT).
In his free time, Tom enjoys hiking, mountain biking, cycling, snowboarding and skiing with family and friends.
